CHEI Mission

The Council for Hydrogen Energy Implementation (CHEI) is a 501 (c) 6 non profit trade association representing a diverse membership of industry, academic, and government leaders whose aim is to facilitate implementation of hydrogen energy facilities, products and services as part ofthe nation's energy mix. The CHEI exists to promote the business interests of its members, facilitate joint efforts and to advocate for state, regional and federal legislative activities that remove or mitigate barriers to the commercialization of hydrogen energy.

Our Goals

  • Organize an annual, affordable conference and exposition for members.
  • Provide a forum for our members; encourage partnerships.
  • Emphasize the broad and inclusive nature of the impending hydrogen economy: renewable and sustainable energy, natural gas and zero emissions.
  • Be a catalyst for hydrogen business expansion; to identify points of entry and assist members in reaching them.
  • Help shape public policy for the fast, efficient and sensible deployment of a hydrogen infrastructure.
